Annual General Meeting 2017

Our annual general meeting took place on 24.01.2017. Elections were not on the agenda this time. The chairman, Karl Heinz Meuser, was able to concentrate on the presentation of the club's situation, a review of the events of 2016, the presentation by the cashier, Wiebke Harders, and the outlook for 2017.

The year 2016 with 4 events, including 2 regional group events and two group performance tests was very eventful and also very successful for our group. We were also able to welcome several dog guides from other groups and from neighboring country groups as well as numerous guests.

A lot of time and work had also been invested by the group members in the maintenance of the club grounds and in repairs. So the situation of the group as a whole is positive. The training is also very active. Some dog handlers are working diligently to reach another level after the Begleithundeprüfung. But also the promotion of the family dog-training was busy last year.

The chairman awarded four distinguished members. Susanne Trebbin and Martina Mushardt were honored for 25 years of membership in the Boxer Klub. Petra Heins received the silver merit of the BK from the Boxerklub Munich for her work with Boxer in Not. Ilona Meuser received the merit of the Boxerklub Munich in gold. She is the most experienced employee of Boxer in Not and has been working for over 20 years on an unsalaried basis to ensure that boxers who are in distress will have a beautiful future again. The meeting sincerely congratulated the honorable and distinguished members.

The traditional trophy “boxer of the year” was given to Xabea of Preußens Eden with her dog handler Marc Schubert. Congratulations!

Overall, the meeting was in a relaxed atmosphere and very harmonious.
