50 Jahr Feier

50 years of the NORDHOLZ Group

That was nice!

Our group turned 50!

About 90 members, former members, friends and guests traveled - some of them far more than 500 km - to celebrate with us.

We had prepared everything carefully so that young and old got their money's worth.

Our regional group chairwoman Brigitte Menke acknowledged the achievements of our group and its activities in the regional group and in the BK.

Our chairman "Kalle" took everyone on a journey through the history of the group. It got a bit emotional, so that one or the other eye didn't stay completely dry. In a small but fine exhibition

"Time travel from 1973 to 2023" everyone was able to deepen this further using photo collages and video presentations and let the memories of many beautiful hours come to life.

Everyone was then allowed to take this journey home with them as a souvenir on a USB-Stick.

There also was a great program:

Smiling faces accompanied Petra Wolff in a slightly different obedience (2 dogs at the same time) and on a round of agility.

Every dog could take part in the dog race and the spectators enjoyed the many darting four-legged friends.

Little Jonna ran without a dog and got the prize for the fastest two-legged friend!

The rescue dog squadron CUXLAND e.V. provided interesting impressions and insights with a skilful, professional demonstration.

It got emotional again when the donation check was handed over to Alexander Schmidt for the

"Action paws - bottle caps for therapy dogs".

This action helps combat-disabled soldiers. We had been collecting for this campaign for months and are now happy to be able to support such a good and important cause.

We will continue this action (collecting bottle caps). So folks: collect, collect and bring it on.

The catering for lunch was top notch! And our girls' cakes were top notch too!

The weather gods agreed with everything and only opened the rainwater locks immediately after the official end of the event.

We can look back on a beautiful, successful celebration! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us.
